Event Details

The seminar is a forum where Ph.D. students and Post-doctoral fellows connected to the ARC center are invited to present their ongoing research projects to their ARC colleagues in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere.  We aim to gather together researchers from all disciplines in order to strengthen the cross- and multi disciplinary profile of ARC and to ensure that ARC researchers have an opportunity to meet and talk on a regular basis.  On that note, we emphasize that all ARC researchers are invited – and warmly encouraged to attend - but the presentations will be from junior researchers.

The seminars will take place once a month.

In this inaugural seminar, each junior participant will have 5 minutes to present her/his own research. Then we will have one ordinary presentation. By “ordinary” we mean a 20-25 min. presentation, followed by 20 min. Q&A. In the following seminars there will be two presentations of this kind, with a short coffee break in between.

Please  respond to Clare Heyward [jennifer.c.heyward@uit.no] to confirm you can come to the inaugural seminar.
